Privacy Policy

Smart Tasbeeh is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal data, only when you choose to create an account for cloud sync.

Local-Only Usage (No Account)

If you use Smart Tasbeeh without creating an account, no data is collected whatsoever:

No analytics or tracking
No cookies or device identifiers
No data sent to any server
All counting history, settings, and custom dhikr are stored locally on your device only

Cloud Sync (Optional Account)

If you choose to create an account for cloud backup, we collect:

Email address — Used solely for account verification via one-time passcode (OTP). We do not send marketing emails.
Counting data — Your dhikr sessions, daily logs, and custom dhikr are synced to our secure cloud database so you can recover them on a new device.

This data is:

Encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
Stored on secure servers (Cloudflare Workers + Turso database)
Never shared with or sold to third parties
Deletable at any time via our account deletion page

Authentication

We use a passwordless system. When you sign up or log in, a 4-digit verification code is sent to your email. We do not store passwords. Authentication tokens (JWT) are stored locally on your device and expire after 90 days.

Advertising

Smart Tasbeeh may show optional rewarded ads (Google AdMob) that you can voluntarily watch to support development. The AdMob SDK may collect device identifiers for ad serving. You are never required to watch ads.

Permissions

Vibration/Haptics — For tactile feedback when counting
Internet — Required only for cloud sync and optional ads

Data Retention

Your synced data is retained as long as your account exists. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time through our account deletion page.

Children's Privacy

Smart Tasbeeh is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, the changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
